Hw to change Monitor Setting (Help me !!!)

Hey I m new to linspire,

I installed linspire on my system. All went normal but when I restarted its showing an error “OUT OF FREQUENCY”
Present settings Hsync:68.6kHz
Vsync:85Hz

my monitor spec are : Horizsync 30-54
Vertisync 50-120

But I m able to use live cd by using the option Advanced  Live Boot Cd (Vesa Graphics)

So where should I modify the settings for my monitor.Please help me…I m thankful to u….

by checking the file

etc/x11/xorg.conf
