Linux Applications I cant get "X" app to work... also discussion about linux programs.

Programming Tools

My question is that for Windows there are different programming tools, such as VB.net,ASP.net,C#(Visual Studio.net).Is these tools are available in linux?Can Anybody name them?

All the tools listed are part of the .NET framework, which is pretty much specific to Microsoft Windows. However, there is an experimental Linux implementation of .NET called the Mono Project:

If you want to work with .NET, techieMoe answerd you.
But if you want to do same jobs, but outside of DoT.NET, (seeking some IDE/RAD) : Trace these : Eclipse, Netbeans, KDevelop, Glade , Anjuta, Qt4 Designer
