I completely removed gthumb using Synaptic package manager because I had intended to reinstall it fresh. That was my first mistake because now I can't seem to reinstall it. When attempting:

jagibbs@Sacrifice:~$ sudo apt-get install gthumb


I get:

So now I figure my repositories are not up to date, although I'm not sure how to find the most up to date and working repositories. How can so many repositories be not found? I'm running Xubuntu 6.10 (Edgy I think). Any ideas on how to get the repositories correct?? I really have found nothing too useful for my particular question online regarding repositories. In addition, I figured I'd just do a dist upgrade to start fresh...of course I can't do that either with the repositories as they are.

My current sources.list is:

Hmm, actually I think I may be running Xubuntu 7.10 the Gutsy Gibbon. why would my sources.list still reference Edgy? I did a clean install from a cd ISO for 7.10 and have never changed my sources.list manually afterwards.
