Smile desktop effects

Hi, I installed compiz app and only some of the programs are working like wobby windows, zoom and screen flip. but im trying to get the cube effect to work I'm having problems with that. I'm thinking that my graphics card may have something to do with it but I don't know as of yet. and also hardware devices don't pick up anything.

Your graphics card, don't have any problem with compiz..

You are missing settings, Install package ccsm
CompizConfig Settings Manager

No, compizconfig-settings-manager is a program to configure compiz.

You video card is not the problem, or compiz wouldn't work at all.

Check that you have 4 workspaces and check your keybindings. I haven't used compiz for a while, but as I recall the default keybinding is CTRL+ALT+Left Mouse Button or CTRL+ALT+Left/Right Arrow
