Now then, attempting to run konqueror in the terminal results in the following error messages:

I attempted to search for "kio" in YaST, and find 2 packages, which I have installed. I also did a search for "MIME" and installed a bunch of those packages. Nothing seems to fix this problem.
Like an idiot, I didn't restart my computer after doing all these updates, so I was still in KDE 3.3, and was assumably attempting to use a 3.4 konqueror.
