Gaim issue

when i compiled the newest version of Gaim...wich worked fine before i reinstalled this OS. it says tehmightytux plugin protocol missing when i try to sign on...

That's strange. I just grepped through the entire source code of my gaim version (0.66), and there isn't a single mention of tux at all (except for a reference to Tux Racer in the ChangeLog). What version are you trying to use?

Ah! LOL! That makes it a bit clearer, so to speak...
What protocol are you trying to use? Can you find a corresponding object in /usr/local/lib/gaim?

i dont really know what a protocol is :\ so i cant really check...im unsure of this stuff....i wanna know why its just not working...
