Horizontal scroll/back/forward in Mozilla

My touchpad has vertical/horizontal scrolling regions on the side which I find very handy. But Mozilla interprets the horizontal scrolling as back/forward, which gets quite annoying, as I'm sometimes whisked away from the page I'm viewing when I try to move the mouse... How can I change this to horizontal scrolling?

Thanks.

Have you tried entering "about:config" in your location bar to play with the scroll settings there?

Ah yes... How could I have forgotten about:config?

I changed mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.action from 2 to 0, then changed mousewheel.horizscroll.withnokey.numlines from -1 to 1.

Thanks.
