2 filesystems on 1 hd

Hi everyone!

I hab both, w2k and linux, on one hd. w2k used NTFS and linux ext3. I used, too, partition magic 8 for splitting my disk but after some time ( exactly 2 tries ) partition magic damaged my drive and only gave the same error massage every time. " FAT is boken" or something like that. did anybody have the same prob?
Dolda2000 already mailed my that it is no problem to the hdd handling 2 different filesystems so it has to be a bug in partition magic.

does anybody know a prog for linux to make and resize partitions?
except fdisk

If there is anything good about mandrake, it is the fact that their installation program includes a really good partition editor.
