Hi everyone.
I really need y'all to put your heads together and see if you can help me out. This is not a distro specific problem as I've seen where the problem has occured with most other distros.
When I try to run beryl-settings, this is what happens:
Code:
$ beryl-settings
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/bin/beryl-settings", line 1948, in <module>
MakeCategoryArea(Category)
File "/usr/local/bin/beryl-settings", line 1723, in MakeCategoryArea
CatBasePixbuf = gdk.pixbuf_new_from_file_at_size("%s/%s"%(BaseDir,CatImages[Category.Name]),IconSize,IconSize)
gobject.GError: Unrecognized image file format I have Googled this thing to death and have tried most of the remedies for other distros, all to no avail so far. In Ubuntu, this problem seems to be getting solved my installing
librsvg2-common. In Mandriva, the problem is getting resolved by installing
librsvg2.
I'm using Crux 2.3 and
librsvg (which is the same as
librsvg2) is installed, but still, no resolution.
I am completely out of ideas on how to resolve this. I really need some help here, otherwise... no beryl.
I will very much appreciate ANY thoughts or suggestions you might have on how to address this. Thanks!
