I have installed Fedora Core 1 in my two systems. Im unable to transfer files from one to another using plip(parallel Line internet protocol) i.e., through parallel port. Does any body know how to configure plip??? please help me...
i tried the following commands

Server System

insmod parport
insmod parport_pc io=0x378 irq=7
insmod plip
ifconfig plip0 100.0.0.1 pointopoint 100.0.0.2

Client System

insmod parport
insmod parport_pc io=0x378 irq=7
insmod plip
ifconfig plip0 100.0.0.2 pointopoint 100.0.0.1
route add default gw 100.0.0.1

After issuing these commands in the respective systems.
I tried ping command.. but it didnot work.
Please help me at the latest.
