Old style applications in KDE4

I'm using KDE4 but applications look really old and I can't figure out why. I've taken a screen shot to show exactly what I mean...

Anyone got any ideas why I'm getting this or how to solve it?

The applications you mentioned are non Qt/KDE apps. They are actaully built using GTK (which is used by GNOME) so they don't follow KDE settings. If you want them to look like KDE apps, then take a look here.
