I like the MGBreizh theme in Mandrake 9.1, however, it has an annoying sound package that I want to, but cant get rid of. I unselected Sound in the content tab, but nothing happened...
This may sound very stupid, but is there a volume knob on the speaker or a power button? Then if you want to play game in while in your theme or your switch to anohter you don't have to remember how you did it.

Control Panel>Sound & Multimedia>System Notifications
Disable the sounds from there.
hmm, theres not a control panel in mandrake, so I asumed you meant Control center, but however, there wastna sound and multimedia section either, so i assumed you mean sound, and there was not a system notifications section either :/
I tried both mandrake control center and control center
I couldn't find anything on changing sound events in Mandrake, but there's a linux app for sound mangment that works on Mandrake 8.1. Might work on 9.1 as well. Check it out:
