problems with the gnome desktop
I am having a problem with my desktop. Whenever I run the Gnome Control center, it locks up when I try to adjust the appearance. When I try to close it , it won't respond. Also I had customized my desktop and now all my icons have disappeared. Is there any way to fix this?

I'm not quite sure. I think that it is the latest. 1.4.1 maybe?
