XOrg, how to set refresh rate to 100Hz?

I use XOrg, I have a samsung 765MB. In Windows, I downloaded the driver and it is enable to set the refresh rate of the Monitor to 100Hz at 1024x768 resolution. If anyone know how to set the refresh rate up to 100Hz, plz tell me. TIA.

Depending on your distro you will find the config file in /etc/X11/xorg.conf or /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 .I believe the part you are looking for is this

I don't normally mess with this where I can involve it, and always make a backup beforehand. It is I believe the VertRefresh section you are looking for....

If you haven't done so already, you might want to make sure your monitor will support that refresh rate, as there are some that won't.

Grab your monitor's vertical and horizontol sync rates, and edit /etc/X11/xorg.conf or XF86Config-4

Here is my configuration of the monitor in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

The HorizSync and VertRefresh are the same with the manufacturer specification. But in FC4, it only allow me to set the Refresh rate up to 85Hz, at 1024x768. I want to set to higher rate. Anyone who use at the higher refresh rate, please show me your monitor section (CRT model) in xorg.conf for example, thank you.
