gDesklets speed penalty?

hi

i want to run gDesklets on a old system running Slackware 10.1

i would like to know if this would cause a considerable speed penalty

btw, the gpu is a virge 2mb

any help appreciated

whats the cpu? if its less than lie 700mhz then dont bother

yes, it is a cyrix mII 233mhz and

why should the cpu speed matter?

because gdesklets is a cpu intensive task.
