| How to preserve personalization settings? Hi,
I want to preserve the personalization settings in Redhat Linux 9 that may have been created while customizing KDE or GNOME. For example, theme, taskbar settings, desktop settings, shortcut, application behaviour, Menu Editor, etc.
I want to use them in the following two scenerios.
1. On the same computer, if I do further tweaking but want to go back to my previous settings, I should be able to rollback by overwriting the preserved files. and
2. I should be able to change the settings on a different computer with the same version of Linux installed (Say Red Hat 9) by just overwriting the settings files.
Which are those files that could be used to do the same?
Thanks in advance. |
