mplayer screenshot

Whenever I try to take a screenshot with xwd or scrot and mplayer is running, the screenshot ends up showing a blue rectangle where mplayer's content should be. Does anyone know of any solutions to this problem?

Thanks!

I've never actually tried doing that by it might have something to do with the vo you are using for mplayer. Try mplayer -vo x11

you might already be using that but I imagine vo's like gl and gl2 might screw up the screenshot.
