    NEW! [Beta] Linux News @ linuxforums.org!

    Hello,

    Im very pleased to announce that a Beta version of our Linux News CMS is now available for use/testing!

    http://www.linuxforums.org/news/

    Basically this is replacing our linux news forum section with a proper dedicated place for linux news and the like.

    Everyone is welcome to submit news using the submit news page:
    HERE

    This is BETA. Im fairly confident its working correctly, but if you find a bug please let me know. Also, im interested to hear of any changes you would like made to it, or anything you want added to it.

    Its linked to an extent, any topics in the linux news forum have been put into this. The content still comes from user submissions, hopefully having a dedicated news center will allow a few more of those

    just a quick q, will there be an RSS feed avalible? (IMO that would be really sweet )

    would it be possible to include the number of comments for each article in the news box on the forum index?

    Pending confirmation of a wiki administrator. I'll keep everyone updated as developments happen thats all i can really say right now

    I've added it as a number in brackets after the article title. Let me know if that looks ok.
