New Front Page
Some of you will have noticed that http://linuxforums.org/ now points to a new page. This front page is where news and articles will be found. The format will probably change several times in the next few weeks, as we test to see what works well, and what doesn't.
Your feedback is greatly appreciated, because without it, we can't make things better!
Thanks,
Andy

Just in case you don't already know about it... the root password colors and formatting seem to be messed up in the "root password" article I submitted. No real biggy to me, but it might be harder for someone to make sense of the article and to put it to good use.

BTW: here's the link:
http://www.linuxforums.org/security/..._password.html
...and password line should look like this:
Code:root:$1$aB7mx0Licb$CTbs2RQrfPHkz5Vna0.fnz8H68tB.:10852:0:99999:7:::

I like the new page. It has shaken off the last few minor bugs I was getting with login. It's a nice layout. Kinda like a newspaper frontpage.

Love it! Having news, reviews and HOWTOs on the front page brings this site closer to a one-stop Linux shop. The site's usefulness just went up by a factor of 10!
Stand up and be counted as a Linux user!
