[Help] Asus Eee PC 900 (modified Xandros?) linux-kernel-headers

The ASUS EEE PC 900 is great. Had to say that.

The only drawback I've found, is that it is very hard to find out what dev libraries are needed to start programming (FreeBASIC.net) on & for the Eee. Being a programmer, the Eee is a new niche to enjoy programming both for and on.

The default repositories don't have the development packages for:-

libc
libm
libpthread
libdl
libncurses

libX11
libXext
libXpm
libXrender
libXrandr

Which are all pretty standard for any Linux distro!

I'd love to know which packages are fully compatible with the Eee's Xandros distro. Failing that, I could build from source if the linux-kernel-headers were available. Is there anywhere to get those?

I'm currently trying to put together guide for FreeBASIC on the Eee PC 900. The FreeBASIC forum is currently down, but once back up, I shall link between these posts. The other forum post on freebasic.net has all the outputs of apt-cache, uname etc. Hopefully with both communities combined, this will be easier!

Thanks in advance!
