Hi All,

I am a new CS graduate student. I just started the study of the performance issue regarding to Linux software raid.
Could you give me some help on how to start the work? Like some readings(document, paper,code, etc):

1. In Which module(eg. *.c files) was the software raid be implemented?
2. Is there a kind of sketch material about the implementation of software raid? I saw many kernel files (eg. md.c, multipath.c) relate to raid, but I have no idea about how they work together.

The best way to answer this kind of question is to browse the Kconfig files in the kernel source tree. I think the one you want here is drivers/md/Kconfig.
