Can anyone explain the white space next to Tux?



It's while running my newly compiled kernel 2.6.5. It's not there when I boot my custom 2.6.3. I used the same options for both.

Since I never really tried this with other kernels prior to 2.6.5, I can't say what the difference really would be.

Image size

Perhaps the issue is as trivial a matter as the image of tux is rendered as a different size on screen leaving whitespace. Just a guess.
