Hi,
I have a problem with fedora.
The machine worked fine, until i rebooted it.
The machine wont boot and it says can't find init.... trying passing init=...
That kind of stuff.
Now the problem is that, when i removed the "initrd line from grub" and changed the "root=LABEL=/" to root=/dev/hda8.
The machine booted.
I dont know what is the problem.
The Label of the partition is fine and also the initrd is correct.
I never did anything!
Please help me to figure out where is the problem.

Are you using an initrd that is built for your kernel? If not, then all you have to do is create a new initrd and add the initrd path back to grub.conf.

Yep,
It was the initrd of the distribution itself.
I also created a new initrd but still it did not work.
