Smile boot linux on laptop

I'm a newbie with linux

I want to install Ubuntu Rocket gOS 2.0 on my laptop with Grub Dual Boot option to XP. From what I've researched it's the quickest boot linux, low maintanance packages, and user friendly.

Here is my laptop set-up:
Dell Latitude C610 (P3 1Ghz 512MB RAM)
No CD-Rom (it's broken)
USB boot is impossible (BIOS limited)
HD 20 GB:
Here is what I've Partition from the beginning to end of the drive:
[50MB freespace][10GB NTFS XPsp2][4GB Fat32][4GB Linux EXT 3][256MB Linux Swap]

What I've managed to do to install XP:
I use TFTP server on another machine and boot the Latitude C610 from onboard NIC. This option only allows the image file (mba.img) to be 500k in size.

My questions:
Should I install Grub boot loader (pxegrub image) first from an image file?
I have about 2 Gb of Fat32 Space on second partition to store GOS rocket installation file. Is there a CD-Emulator for Grub, so after Grub boot, it will locate and install GOS rocket?

Thank you in advance

If you have a FloppyDrive, or buy a External Floppy Drive you can do this:
Use a Floppy to Boot USB Pendrive Linux | USB Pen Drive Linux

Thanks for your suggestion,

I'm just going to use VMware to run GOS, so anything goes wrong I just roll back easier. The laptop is too slow of thirdparty Firewall and Antivirus to run.
