Systemax Pursuit #036088 Centrino 1.5ghz notebook & li

I intend to buy this notebook from Tigerdirect and I was wondering if I can dualboot with any Linux Os installed. It has the following hardware..
Intel Centrino 1.5ghz
256MB Pc2100 DDR Ram(Max to 1G)
40GB hard drive
15" xgaTFT
DVD/CD-RW COMBO DRIVE
3 IN 1 MEDIA READER
64MB Inter82852/82852 GM/GME Integrated Graphics Controller

Intel Calixico 802.11b Wireless LAN
Smart Link 56K Modem V.92
Integrated Fast Ethernet 10/100Mbps
USB 2.0 Interface
IEEE1394 Firewire
Microsoft Windows XP HOME Installed.
Please somebody have a look at this and let me know if I ca Install Linux and run it without much trouble.Thanks in advance.

it looks like quite recent hardware, so the only way to find out is to try it
