Routing Problem?

Dear All,

I've got a win machine participating into a 192.168.0.32/29 subnet connected to a linux router with 2 NICs (eth1 - 192.168.0.34/29 eth0 192.168.1.2/24). The linux box is connected with a linksys router on 192.168.1.0/24 which gives access outside to the rest of the world. I can have internet access and ping all the machines to 192.168.1.0/24 network from my win machine but not the other way round. Any suggestion will be much appreciated. (Firewall and forwarding rules to iptables are correct)

It seems to me a firewall problem on your win machine (especially if you are using vista). Check if there's an in-built or a third-party firewall (such as McAfee) blocking the incoming icmp traffic.

Thanx a lot for your reply. There is no firewall on the win machine all the traffic is filtered by the Linux router. There is no mistake in the iptables settings since I have extensively checked my rules.
