DHCP/firewall-server

Hi!
I want to set up a machine that acts as a DHCP-server and firewall.
But I have got close to zero experience with linux, so I have no idea where to start.

I want the following funtionality:
-DHCP-server
-Firewall
-Being able to block ports
-Being able to block internal IP's access to the internet
-Being able to reserve a set amount of bandwith for a spesific IP/machine/program.
-Remote access to the server via SSL/telnet (or what ever is the best solution)

That's all I can think of right now.

Allso, I'd prefer solutions with as much GUI as possible.
But if the only/best/simplest option is a textbased program, that's fine.

Is there anyone who can get me started?
Maybe give some links, program advices, a small how-to?
As I said, I have no idea where to start, so I'd be very happy just to get a link to a guide or something like that =)

Thanks in advance!

You could start by installing webmin. A web based configuration tool for those who don't know how to use the command line. Google should get you to the home page.

I would suggest that you start reading and understand how things work so that when things break you are not back here asking where to look. If you want to be a sys admin then you have to walk the path. This isn't a windows world where a program does everything for you.
