NFS Server Benchmark/Simulator

I need to do a project for a college course to analyze the server performance of a large NFS system. I am supposed to evaluate the affect of adjusting the NFS threads and different rotating speed harddrives. Of course I personally don't have a large number of servers so I can simulate this with real hardware. In fact I only have 1 computer that I can use for this. Are there any software NFS Server benchmarks that will simulat clients and still allow me to meeet my objectives?

Thank you,
