i need help setting up router with squid

Hello House.

I want to set up a router with firewall and i want it to run squid as well to enable me save bandwidth and increase perfomance.

I want the workstations to connect directly to the router and also using the squid without configuring the client browser's to use proxy ip.

thanks.

Thank you very Much.

Thank you very much it worked, i am able to share internet connection thru my Linux box (two nic) and firewall works great. I have a firewalled router in between my cable modem and the linux box, i enabled port forwarding. I am happy with the results.

hi,

If i was to make my P3 into a router would it display detailed info about my line like the sort of mode/profile its running in? Fastpath OR Interleave(Noise Profile)
Also, does it support WLAN with WPA encryption? (if not, would it be possible to integrate this?)

Thanks!
