Question Internet and Programs.

I think most software had Windows in mind, Netgear dose not have a Windows Signature, and I was ablle to install Netgear to my Sisters laptop within an Ubuntu invironment without any problems. I am wandering if Ubuntu has a problems with certain hardware, or maybe reinstall and start over. Ubuntu did fint a (Broadcom BCM4318 [Airforce one 54g] but still would not establish a connection.
