Problems mounting digicam kodak dx6340

i'm using debian sarge testing with linux 2.6.6 kernel.
i have problems mounting my kodak dx6340 digicam.
i allways get :
mount: /dev/sda1 is not a valid block device

my usb card reader is working well with this fstab entry:
/dev/sdc1 /mnt/sd vfat users,sync,noauto 0 0

but i dont know how to get the camera working.
please help.
