Is there any virtual drive( such as Daemon Tools ) for linux?

Before I eradicated Windows from my machine several weeks ago,I used to read a lexicon by using the Daemon Tools. That electronic dictionary consists of three parts as below:
    dictionary.ccd dictionary.sub dictioanry.img
I can't make use of it now.I don't know how to make use of it!
So is there any virtual drive for Linux that is an equivalent of the Daemon Tools of Windows ?
How can I make use of the dictionary under Linux?
    Thanks.

You do not need them in linux.
    You could mount ISO-image, using
    Code:
    mount -t iso9660 image.iso mount.point -o loop

But the files are NOT the .iso type at all ! Instead they are
    *.ccd
    *.img
    *.sub files!!!

.img may be able to mount as loopback to, not sure however... Or maybe you can extract them in some way?

those are just varients of iso files used by apps like cd clone (from memory). i think there was an opption that let u make regular iso files instead. you could try mounting them but it might or might not work.

if you mount this image in daemon tools,,or alcohol 120, you can use a program like UltraIso to save it as an iso image,,then you can mount it in linux..Nero may be able to do this as well,, not sure tho,,but UltraIso can.

If you have already offed Windows,, then check and see if Nero Linux will burn this format to a disk,,problem solved,,if you have a burner. I don't have experience as of yet burning under linux,,so don't know what the programs can do.

    if this don't work,,,,

    reinstall windoze,,and do the above

Install Kisotools, it allows using nero nrg, I think CloneCD (ccd) and obviously ISO. From memory I think I mounted alcohol mdf/mds files with some teasing before. Img files should be fine, just use the mount command above and treat them as iso9660.
