My Red Hat Linux that I recently
upgraded with downloads likes
to logout if I am away for a few
hours. Where do I look to correct
this?

what do you mean by logout?

you will really need to explain the problem in more detail..

Is it just a screen saver thats coming on, or the computer is going into standby?

Which version of redhat?

Which GUI do you login to / use? Gnome / KDE / Other ?

Ta,

Jason

I am using RedHat 7.1 (SeaWolf)
on a machine with a 1G Pentium III.
With the Gnome GUI. I like to work
with 3 or 4 desktops open simultaneously, but when I come back from a lengthy break, a few hours or overnight, the screen says I need to login. When I do, all my desktops have vanished. Rather a nuisance.
