Which kind of tools? You seem to have the background, the documentation, the compiler and the virtual machine to test and try. What else do you need?

If it's just a bootloader what you are missing, you should look into grub, lilo or any of the other available ones. Even if you don't plan to use them, they are simple pieces of software (relatively) and they are OS agnostic, so, any of them can be studied and used as a base for your own loader.

I understood your purpose generally speaking, I think, but I still don't understand what are the pieces that you are missing. Try to be a bit more specific about what exactly do you need.

Cheers and luck on that mission
Hi, OK..

Let's see I've have the following tools:

WMware Desktop 6
Assembler (Book)
Compiler tools from Microsoft Development tools for C/C++.
Code View (CV) (I need this tool)
I have heard about grub bootloader a programmer or an architect at Microsoft said that I could download the grub OS loader.

I also want to know in which way the OS must be writen from scratch.
I mean I have been working with Object Oriented (OO) programming before in both C++ and C#.

Like I said before I have VS2003 EE and VS2005 but I'm not discussing thoose here at the Linux forum, I'm also a member of MSDN Forums and I've asked this type of question there they told me to ask that question at Linux forum so I registred here and I'm asking this question.

I'm not going to discuss these stuff here, could you give me your e-mail and I would tell everything.
Have a great day...

I see what's going on. I had not actually said:

I can give you the first tutorial, then 2d and so on... if you need so.
I was quoting Swagata Paul, who had made the offer. Then devils casper explained that any help should be made online where everyone can see what's going on and learn from it; that's why he deleted Swagata Paul's post.

I'd go the google route anyway. :)

Hi!

Ok, I will go directly to the issue.

I need:

All PC keyboard.inc
All PC Mouse.inc
All PC NetAdapters.inc
How to support an i386 machine or i486 machine or other??

I need to know:

How to make a Window Manager and a GUI??
How to connect all the files in the OS?
Like all *.asm, *.h, *.cpp & *.c files to communicate and run without crashing the system.

I need also to know how to build a boot block and BUILDOSBLOCK and I also need to know how to make that if I click on the button halt the machine then it would save setting like selected wallpapper on the desktop and user name + password(if password protection ON), I need to now more about the UI and how to write a Driver so the OS could find a USB connected mouse and make it enabled to be used.

Have a great day....
