golam.sarower Just Joined! Join Date: Sep 2008 Posts: 1	Need to kill process (Application) in C++ Dear all, I am developing an application in Linux for a Debian based device (Nokia N810). But in the device when exiting from the application still it is showing that the application is still run capturing the CPU. So i need to kill the process (My application) manually when exiting from the application. Any suggestion or help? Sarower

Assuming that the device you're running on behaves like a normal CPU, exiting the program _should_ kill it as well. Are you forking at any point or creating new threads?
