I need to figure out the translation of a asp tag to a php one, if possible.

I want to enclose another web site page into one of my tables.

with php to include a file:

<? require("filename.php"); ?>

so to include a file like a pdf it would just be:

<? require(filename.pdf"); ?>

If the file is on another site would it be:

<? require(http://www.domain.com/filename.pdf"); ?>

This linking a article from another site within my sites table is what I'm trying to do.

AFAIK it cannot be done like that. Require() is for local file only.

Make a hyperlink "Download Here!" and get the user to get it that way.
