run shell commands on connected client

Hi all

let's assume a client (B) opens a SSH connection to a server (A). is it possible to use this connection also backwards? In other words: is it possible (having root access on server A) to run shell commands on the connected client (B) without opening a new ssh connection?

thanks,
swake

I think not (though I haven't looked too deep into that). When I need to operate on remote files using local tools I usually just mount the ssh account locally using sshfs
