What antivirus software works on linux?

First of all, you don't need an antivirus in Linux, because Windows viruses cannot harm Linux.
If you want to protect your friends from infected files you may have downloaded(which won't do anything to you), you can use clamav or avg.

Would it be able to harm my computer cause it runs wine. Also, yes, I do want to protect against windows viruses.

If you are using Wine to run Windows based programs then Virus can create problems in Linux ( mainly your /home/user folder ).
