I didnt expect that question . Anyways ...I want to restrict some of the users to their home directory that is .... if user xyz is logged in to the server in the default directory /ftpdir via FTP ....then that user should be allowed to access only the /ftpdir folder and nothing above it . e.g / , /home or something ..that is the meaning of chrooting the user .
