I used the included 2.6 kernel with no problems because my sound card made noises with the 2.4 kernel. I also found 10.1 better than 10 possibly because X in 10.1 worked better with my computer. One thing I wish is that Rox Filer was part of the official Slackware becuse it is very much a Slackware kind of App. Simple and dpendable.
