Installing VMtools

hi,
well after managing with the root password and more, i'm now encountering another problem - vmtools.
The install cannot find my kernel headers at /usr/src/linux/include.
I need to say that I already installed the kernel source and pointing to /usr/src/linux-2.6.22.9-1mdv don't really help here.

your help will be appreciated!

Are you trying to install VMware Tools? And are you installing them on a Linux or Windows guest OS? What OS is the host?

If it's a linux guest then you'll have to install gcc and the kernel-devel packages that match your running kernel. Check /usr/src for a directory called kernels. They may be in there as well.

The last one is cached because for some reason it didn't resolve normally.
