Bootloader change to floppy

ive just installed man 9.2 on my system dual booting with micros**t XP which my wife still wants/needs to use and i want to change the bootloader so the default boot is windows. the other way is to boot from a floppy and remove the bootloader all together.

edit the file /etc/lilo.conf and change the default to whatever windows is called.

Then make sure to run the command lilo -v

The changes can be made from the Mandrake Control Center in the boot section. You have the options there to create a floppy or modify your Grub configuration. There is no need to foddle with the configuration files. Grub is by far better than lilo which I naticipate will be deprecated soon.

I don't think they can deprecate LILO unless Grub comes out of the Alpha stage, which it won't for a while because they stopped work on Grub and have just recently started on Grub 2...

As one comment on Grub, since it has been included in Debian Sarge that's good enough for me.
