Hello, I'm new to Mandriva and I've just installed 2008 Spring.
I wonder if anyone could tell me how you get a programme to launch on start up.
I have been using Ubuntu and that had an item called 'Sessions' that allowed you to enter the name of programme and add it to the start up menu.
I wondered if Mandriva had something similar.
Thanks

Welcome to the forums!

KDE has something similar, but I'm not sure where it is under Mandriva. You could try going to a terminal and run kcontrol, then look around in the various settings there for the option to set sessions.

Maybe someone running Mandriva can provide a more specific answer.

Thanks for the reply Oz. I did as you suggested and thought I may have found it under an item called 'Paths' however it didn't seem to lead anywhere. Never mind I'll press on.
Thanks again
