Hi - what does the disturbance sound like? This might be hard to describe on here, but it could help us answer. For example, is it a high pitched whistling noise, like feedback?
It's possible that one of your audio channels is turned up too far. Which sound system are you using? ALSA is a good one to try, and if you are using this you might consider opening Kmix (available from your list of applications) and lowering some of the channel settings.I am always doing that which I can not do, in order that I may learn how to do it. - Pablo Picasso
