Question i am new in mandriiva and need help

hi
i do install mandriva 2009.1 on pc next to win xp and work very, i have prooblem on install skype on mandriva, i googling for resolutions and get urpmi, i do successful install for real player and abobe reader 9 when do install for skype it end up package installation after message disappear without successful install :

please can anyone help

It's a little hard to understand your problem, your English is not too good. Try to get somebody to help you with that.
From what I did understand, you need help installing Skype, and you need to update the rpm database on your computer.
go here and click the Add Official Medias and Add PLF medias buttons.
Then open the package manager, make sure the two pull down menus say All and then search for Skype. Once you selectd it, install it. Everything should be automatic.
