What is currently happening to Mandriva, is a big question for all the distros. What if the number of users increased? It's nearly impossible to reach the mirrors. The best way is to download a DVD. I'm trying to get all the needed packages, but EVERY server is jammed. This shows how quickly happens the conversion from windows to Linux. I never did encounter such a jam!
Anyway, Mandriva 2010.0 looks good after the great fiasco of 2009.0. Still, there are certain weaknesses in KDE, but it is improving very quickly.
