dialup via mobile phone

hi new here.

installed mandriva 2009. previous o/s is windows.
well , cant connect to web , using mobile phone.. (usb cable)
dont known how to configure . need help

This is not straight forward on linux. It depends on the model of the phone & also the mobile provider.

thanks for reply, well i can dial via windows xp .. it's automatically detects the usb modem located inside mobile phone. i'm using nokia 5800 .

i did checked the device manager in mandriva , its shows , device not recogised (nokia 5800)
is the any drivers to download?
