Hybernate Mode

Does Mandriva 2005 Ltd Edition support Hybernate mode. I've noticed in the Logout screen it only has End Current Session, Turn Off, Restart and Cancel. But no Hybernate in which I like using. Though I did see Hybrnate in Ubuntu.

Dunno if this is any help to you, but Linux supports the 'sleep' command. I've played around with it, but not sure if that will strictly speaking hiberate your PC.

The syntax - in Bash for example - is:

sleep x

where x is the number of seconds you want to rest your system for. I think the command is used in shell scripts where required.

Other than that you are talking about the power management features of Mandriva which can be found somewhere in your hardware settings. Sorry ... Using Windows XP all day today.
