3D Desktop

I have activated the 3D desktop on Mandriva, but I am unsure as to how to use it. My display is still 2D and I can't find any info on how to make it a cube (3D). I'm guessing that there is a keyboard shortcut key that i need to press to switch to '3D view', but I just don't know what it could be?

To spin the cube hold down CTRL+ALT and then click and drag.
Did you install beryl or compiz ?
For a list of shortcuts in Beryl look at the plugin options in Beryl Settings Manager(you can also change them).
For some Compiz shortcuts check this out http://en.opensuse.org/Compiz

Arrow Not able to do anything!

Hi all,

I tried to install compiz but I still have a 2D desktop. No shortcuts are working.

I choosed to use AIGLX because XGL jammed the desktop and it was hard for me to recover.

I have an old 32MB Nvidia GeForce 2 and i supposed it was enough to drive the 3D desktop. The fact is, if i try to launch compiz in console, i get always the folllowing messages:

compiz: Another window manager is already running on screen: 0
compiz: No managable screens found on display :0.0

Which kind of window manager is running?

Thank you in advance for any suggestion...

Try compiz --replace
or
compiz --replace gconf

One of them
