How to login as root in mandriva 2k7
Cant login as root.says root logins not allowed.and in my laptop the headphone jack isn't recognised..its compaq v3035tu..

can you run "sudo" with your user password?
Then try "sudo adduser root" or "sudo passwd root" to create the root account
